Nature Valley Run
That is my friend shouting at the top of her lungs. she was way behind already.
For the past few months, i started joining running events in the metro. This after joining a fund raising run held at the fort. After that, i got hooked up with running that i made it a point already to squeeze in running, every week usually Sundays, even just here in my place near the compound of Club Manila East.
Just recently, i joined the Nature Valley Run at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig. I was in the 5K run. The registration was at 600 pesos with free singlet and chip for the time. The run started at around 5:30 am, though i arrived late together with some friends, but we managed to catch up. In the end, i was able to finish the 5k run (along with some walks) at 43 minutes and 9 seconds. Wew, still a long way to go to be a pro. At the event site after the run, there were still things that you can enjoy for free just like the photovendo and, of course, the free pandesal with Century tuna in it. There were also free loot bags with Granola bars, Century Tuna and a drink (I forgot the name, it wasn't that nice kasi).
Nonetheless, It was satisfying and really fun. The money was worth it and i'm looking for my next run. Im planning to get serious with this and i know, i still have a long way to go. But with practice, Im sure i can survive 21k. Yes, 21k is my goal for this year. hehe..
Till my next run.....

Research shows that healthy adults who exercise regularly are generally happier than those who don't. though im not a runner in nature, many of my friends told me that "you'll likely feel more energetic and creative".
